Earth Works

Earthworks, in building, are the removal or placing of soils and other excavated materials. Earthworks is frequently a component of the civil engineering work necessary for constructing roads, stabilizing land, and grading land to alter the topography of a place.

Shoring/ Sheet Pile

To support excavations and retain earth, sheet piles—sections of sheet material with interlocking edges—are driven into the ground. Steel is the most popular material for sheet piles, but it can also be composed of reinforced concrete or wood.

Dewatering

Dewatering means removing surface water/ groundwater from a site before building activity starts. Used in locations with trenches and excavations where water can collect, where the slope is insufficient for water run-off, or where the water table is high.

Ground Anchor

Ground anchors, often referred to as earth anchors, percussion-driven anchors, or mechanical anchors, are adaptable tools used to hold, constrain, and support buildings, civil engineering projects, and other structures, either permanently or temporarily.

Micro Pile/ Mini Pile

Structures are supported by foundations, which distribute the load with layers of rock/ soil with adequate bearing capacity and proper settling characteristics. Systems are preferred to support and stabilize buildings, bridges, highways, towers, and other man-made structures as new foundations or remedial construction.

Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles

Are steel-reinforced concrete elements cast in situ used to transfer high loads through the soil to deeper, more competent soil or rock stratum. To stabilize the pile excavation while drilling through loose soil or extremely soft clays below the water table, specific bentonite or polymer slurries are required.
